# Primeiros passos

Ativando a ferramenta

Navegue até: Services -> NGrules Integration -> General.

Enable: Marcando essa opção a ferramenta será ativada. 

Listen Interface(s): Agora marque as interfaces que serão filtradas pela ferramenta, apenas marque as opções onde a conexão é originada: 

Exemplo: LAN

Schedule frequency: Aqui podemos informar a frequência com que os processos do NGRules são reiniciados, isso previne um elevado consumo de memória.

Monitor mode: Aqui será ajustado o modo de operação do NGRules, como a ferramenta monitora as conexões e utiliza os recursos do hardware:&#x20;

**Defaulf:** Selecione para ambientes com tráfego moderado;

**High traffic server:** Se o seu ambiente estiver passando por um tráfico mais intenso e existe um número considerável de dispositivos simultâneos, será importante utilizar essa opção;

**Low traffic server:** Essa opção serve para ambientes menores, onde existe poucos dispositivos e o tráfego na rede é baixo.&#x20;

## Checagem de Aliases

Check Alias: Essa opção é a frequência que os aliases serão alimentados e verificados sobre novas atualizações.&#x20;

Check frequency: Tempo em minutos que será feita a atualização acima.&#x20;
